Yesterday, I was honored to attend Eglin Air Force Bases' Change of Command Ceremony, where Colonel Jeffery Geraghty assumed command of the test wing, replacing Brigadier General Scott Cain. I want to thank you, Brigadier General Cain, for your distinguished service at Eglin Air Force Base. Brigadier General Cain gave an exceptional departing speech as Colonel Geraghty will now assume his new role, which I am confident he will also excel at.
TODAY: CONGRESSMAN GAETZ INTRODUCES THE 'DISARM THE IRS ACT'
In a recent report, it has been proven that federal government agencies are allocating taxpayer dollars to purchase ammunition! Specifically, in 2022 alone, the IRS has spent $725,000 on ammunition.
Today, I introduced the “Disarm the IRS Act” of 2022, with Reps. Jeff Duncan (SC-03), Paul Gosar (AZ-04), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) as original cosponsors. Upon enactment, this bill would prohibit the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from acquiring, by purchase or otherwise, any ammunition after the bill’s enactment.

Last week, I joined Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News to discuss this very issue of unrelated federal agencies buying-up ammunition instead of doing their explicitly clear job. As I outline below, I took the time this week to raise my concerns about this outrageous use of taxpayer dollars and acted promptly to introduce legislation that would prohibit the IRS from arming themselves with your money ever again.
As the United States can barely finance the interest payments on its current debt, it is imperative that we stand-up to irresponsible spending measures, whether it’s thousands or trillions.

On Wednesday, I joined the Ingraham Angle on Fox News to discuss yet another discovery of misguided, asinine activities by United States government agencies that We, The People finance every year. My office obtained a bizarre video of Department of Labor employees using their time and resources to promote transgender and anti-white safe spaces, including references of going back to sex work to pay for gender reassignment surgery.
After watching this shocking video, I sent a letter to the Secretary of Labor expressing my outrage and deep concerns with the contents of this video, along with how this ridiculous webinar is unrelated to the mission of the Department of Labor. I also demanded responses to the following questions:
1) How did this panel further the mission of the Department of Labor?
2) What percentage of the labor force suffers from gender-dysphoria?
3) What did this panel do to support the welfare of wage earners or those seeking employment?
4) How much money, from its taxpayer funded budget, did the DOL spend on this panel?
We need more employees in the American economy right now, not more wokeism and victimization.
