Immediately following my primary victory to take on far-left Progressive Caucus Leader Katie Porter, my team ran the numbers and told me that we absolutely needed to raise $100,000 in August to lay the groundwork to win this race.
That was the absolute bare minimum because Katie Porter had already amassed a nearly $20 million war chest.
But, it’s now July 1st, and as of midnight last night, we failed to raise the $100,000 we needed.
My team is preparing budget cuts as we speak, but I told them to give me one more chance to reach out to my top supporters and ask for you to help us make up the deficit.
I won’t belabor the point because I know you know how important it is that we win this race. After all, it’s one of just four races in the entire country that must be won to Take Back The House.
