John – I just had the honor of meeting with President Biden to discuss defending reproductive choice across the country.
The fact of the matter is this: The fight for reproductive freedom is now in the hands of Governors like me, which is why it's so important that I defeat my anti-choice opponent this November.
I need you to join me and President Biden in defending reproductive choice: Please, will you donate $5 – or whatever you can spare before midnight – to ensure that New Mexico remains a safe haven for abortion care?

I'm taking swift action in this dire moment for reproductive freedom. In addition to taking an old trigger ban off the books last year, I just took executive action to protect out-of-state patients and New Mexico doctors from GOP state governments who criminally punish abortion.
So long as I am Governor, New Mexico will be a safe state for reproductive choice – which is especially important as our neighbors in Texas, Utah, and Oklahoma enact strict bans on abortion. The problem is, I can only safeguard abortion access if I win reelection in November.
That's why this is so worrisome, John: A recent poll shows I have a narrow lead on my anti-choice opponent Mark Ronchetti – and even worse, I'm behind on my $150,000 goal before my critical filing deadline tomorrow. I can't close this gap or defend reproductive rights without your help, so please: Will you donate $5 now to keep abortion safe and legal?
