I wanted to take a moment to say thank you, friend.

Our team has worked this past week tirelessly to meet our end-of-month fundraising goal. Ending June strong was crucial to maintaining our movement's momentum.

And I have good news – we met and exceeded our fundraising goal! Unlike Rick Caruso, this campaign is built by grassroots donations. So I mean it when I say we couldn’t have done it without the support of our grassroots community. You all stepped up and put us in a position to win this November.

We have a vision, we have a plan, and we have the best team to get the job done. I am confident that we can tackle our city's homelessness crisis, act boldly on climate change, protect reproductive rights, and create a stronger Los Angeles together.

I won’t lie – this race will be challenging, and I know our opponent won't be slowing down his efforts, but no amount of personal funding can compete with the will of the people.

We have a long road ahead of us, but I’m honored to have your trust and support. Once again – thank you, friend.
