I am living the American Dream.
Patriot, I came to this country as a young girl. My mother and I would collect cans and bottles on the beach and then donate the funds raised to our church -- our way of giving back to the community that had welcomed us with open arms.
I spent years navigating our immigration process and was granted citizenship. I put myself through college, started a business, raised a family, and now am one of the first Korean American women in Congress. I have always put our community first, and will continue to do so in Washington.
But I need your help to keep the American Dream alive for future generations -- to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity I did all those years ago. I can’t do it alone.
We only recently unseated Pelosi’s candidate -- the first Republican to unseat an incumbent CA Democrat in 26 years -- and we’re not in the clear. The Democrat’s spent $20+ million against us, outspending us at every turn, and this time around we’ll face millions more. Pelosi is determined to win back every seat she lost, including this one.
