AJP Action's Hall of Fame or Hall of Shame: Palestine in Congress edition Dear Email, A few weeks ago, Americans for Justice in Palestine (AJP Action) released its annual ranking of Members of Congress, grading their support for Palestinian human rights, and highlighting the best and worst Members in Congress on Palestine. Today, we present you an updated, more comprehensive version of our Congressional Scorecard including a hall of fame and hall of shame. Our scorecard takes into account the legislation and Dear Colleague letters supported by each Member in the 117th Congress and penalizes them for speaking at AIPAC. Our first release featured a mix of twelve legislative items that were used to score members of the House, and eleven for the Senate. Our new and improved scorecard scored Members based on their positions on eighteen pieces of legislation and Dear Colleague letters, both in the Senate and the House. Their Scores have been totaled and reflected as a letter grade. |
