The House Appropriations Committee passed its annual State and Foreign Operations funding bill on Wednesday.
The bill includes many important bipartisan provisions that we lobby for together to help keep Israel safe.
It includes the full $3.3 billion in annual U.S. security assistance to Israel, which is vital to ensuring our ally can defend itself, by itself.
Importantly, the Committee also rejected new political conditions or restrictions on this funding, which would undermine Israel’s security and weaken the U.S.-Israel relationship.
The bill also prohibits any funds from supporting the U.N. Human Rights Council’s new anti-Israel Commission of Inquiry (COI), which is a continuation of the U.N.’s longstanding discrimination against the Jewish state.

You help achieve these results: Through AIPAC, you help secure the bipartisan support needed to advance pro-Israel policies that keep Israel strong and America more secure.
We will keep you informed as our policy agenda continues to move forward on Capitol Hill.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Fourth of July!

This week, the House Appropriations Committee unanimously passed Rep. Guy Reschenthaler's amendment banning U.S. taxpayer dollars from going to the United Nations Human Rights Council's (UNHRC) anti-Israel Commission of Inquiry (COI).
"This amendment would prohibit funding for the UNHRC, their bogus and baseless COI and the false accusations of human rights violations by Israel... With the recent release of its first one-sided report, we saw the Commission's efforts to delegitimize Israel and whitewash Palestinian terror organizations."

[The Iranians] brought up issues that were wholly unrelated to the JCPOA," said correspondent Mike Wagenheim.
