Friend, I'm livid.

The Supreme Court just officially overturned Roe v. Wade. 

This is an absolute disaster for our country. An entire generation of Americans was stripped of their freedom to make decisions about their own bodies, and specifically, to have the ability to decide about pregnancy. Health care decisions should be made in the exam room, not by GOP politicians.

Republicans across the country have spent decades waging an all-out assault to end safe and legal abortion, packing the Supreme Court to push their anti-abortion agenda. And now, after almost 50 years as the law of the land, our fundamental right to choose has been stripped away.

But we can't lose all hope.

The BEST way we can protect abortion rights is if we hold our Democratic Senate and House majorities. They are our last line of defense against GOP attacks.

That's why I'm working with American Bridge, where we’re holding Republicans accountable for their extreme campaign to end reproductive rights. And to do that, we need to reach our goal of raising $20,000 by midnight tonight. So I'm asking:

Please, as we're reeling from this life-changing decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, will you pitch in right away to make sure we keep the Senate and House blue and protect our fundamental rights for years to come?
