As the 2022 midterm elections approach, the American political system is
in crisis like never before. Republicans, increasingly the national
minority, are on the precipice of destroying our democracy in order to
consolidate power. The Democratic Party establishment, in turn, has
abandoned the progressive roots of the party and allowed corporate power
to flourish and economic inequality to deepen, standing by as the middle
class has been completely hollowed out.
