Alma just told me the good news! With your help, we were able to hit our end-of-quarter fundraising goal and finish the quarter strong. Thank you so much!

Over and over again, I have been blown away by the grassroots support for our campaign. I know every one of you is digging deep, and it means so much to me to have you on our team. I am so grateful.

We’re taking some time away from our computers this weekend to spend time with friends and family, so you might not hear from us for a bit. But I will be at Independence Days in Independence, OR with the Polk County Democrats, so come say “hi” if you can.

I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend with their loved ones. We have come a long way as a country working towards a more perfect union, and the Fourth of July is a good time to reflect on the hard work ahead of us – and there’s a lot.

As we push forward together, we must focus on building a democracy that is inclusive of all people and protects the rights of our most marginalized communities. This won’t be easy, but I know, together, we can make our country and our communities a better place.

So thank you again for being a valuable member of Team Salinas, friend. I’m proud to have you in this fight with me.
