Job Search Seminar: The Resilient Job Seeker

Wednesday, July 6, 1–2:30 pm CT

Resilience can help increase your capacity to follow through with your job search strategy, even when you aren’t getting the results you want. The purpose of this workshop is to assist performing arts and entertainment professionals build up their resilience muscles to help overcome common job search snags.

 

The Career Center

The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of online programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals to identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.

Get started by attending The Career Center Orientation (Monday* or Thursday** session) to enroll in the career services offered. Once you've done that, you can enroll in workshops including Personal Branding* and Career Journey**.

Additional workshops include Dancers on the Move: Transitions to New Careers**.

The Entertainment Community Fund offers personalized health insurance counseling and enrollment support, referrals to health care resources and seminars on how to care for yourself.

Watch the Every Artist Insured National Webinar that offers a comprehensive, unbiased overview of health insurance options nationally. It’s geared towards those who are losing coverage through a union or job, as well as those who have never had coverage before.

Social Services

With respect and understanding, our professional social workers offer our community help to address a wide array of challenges via online and phone counseling and support groups, education and practical help—completely free of charge.
