With our end-of-quarter fundraising completed, I wanted to thank you for believing in me and in Team Molly. Yesterday, in the final hours of the quarter, we got a surge of donations and were able to surpass our goal.

I entered this race because our greatest challenges — from the climate crisis to workforce shortages — cannot be solved by Vermont alone.

There is so much work to be done on the issues I’ve been talking about – climate, child care, workforce training, paid family leave – but at this moment the single most important thing I will do as your Congresswoman is protect our democracy.

I will use my experience – working in Congress and abroad to promote human rights, as a former Assistant Attorney General and federal law clerk, and as a proud, lifelong Vermonter and your Lieutenant Governor – to protect our democracy and to undo the damage done by Donald Trump and his Supreme Court.

Congress is our last and best defense against the ongoing, devastating repercussions of the Trump administration. We have to channel our outrage into action – and that starts with codifying reproductive rights and common-sense gun laws.

I’m ready to get to work on day one to protect the fundamental rights of Vermonters and all Americans.
