[1]Marching Orders
John –
In the days since The Supreme Court overturned Roe, we saw this community spring into action.
We have come together to make it clear that we won’t go back. We won’t accept half-ass statements without meaningful action from our politicians. And we won’t stop organizing until our fundamental rights are safeguarded in EVERY state in this so-called democracy.
Our movement is just getting started.
ICYMI: Earlier this week, activists from the states where abortion is now banned & states critical to Biden’s reelection scaled a crane (yes you read that right!) to send our leaders a clear message:
Fight to protect the women that brought you to power or step aside.

Growing our movement: Yesterday, over 4,000 activists from across the country joined together to talk about what’s next in the Summer of Rage – keeping up the pressure and staying engaged in the fight to defend abortion rights, supporting folks who need abortion care, and building the feminist future we deserve.
Thanks to all who attended!
What’s next? We’re taking the fight online.
On July 13th, we’re hosting a training to equip you with evidence-based best practices and message-tested tools and talking points for defending abortion rights online.

Our Summer of Rage culminates at our Women’s Convention in Houston, August 12-14.
This year’s Women’s Convention is our most important yet. If you’re new to the movement and trying to figure out where to plug in, this convention is for you. If you’ve been involved in Women’s March since Day 1, this convention is for you. We are building an intergenerational, action-forward, and inclusive movement.

Here’s one action you can take today:
The Congresswomen of the Congressional Black Caucus have urged Biden to use any and all executive authorities to address the public health crisis our nation is now facing since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
We echo their call to President Biden to declare a public health emergency and national emergency that will allow the Administration to utilize additional flexibilities, deploy resources where necessary, and act with the urgency that this moment requires.
