The Right to Life Wins and Morality is Restored Greetings! I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the meaning of Independence Day Weekend: Independence Day Reflections This Independence Day weekend, as we enjoy the summer sunshine, fireworks, backyard barbeques, and quality time spent with family and friends, let us remember all the sacrifices made in our quest for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Those sacrifices to preserve our freedoms continue to be made to this day. There is no denying that the United States is facing significant challenges right now – Inflation is at a 40-year high, Americans are faced with choosing between buying groceries for their family or filling up their car, mothers can't buy formula for their babies, and there is an invasion at our southern border. As every American continues to work towards their American Dream, it is now more important than ever for us to remember that the United States is STILL the greatest country the world has ever known. On the seal of the U.S. House of Representatives, it states “E pluribus unum” meaning “Out of many, one”. This serves as a reminder of America's successful attempt to make one unified nation of people from many different backgrounds and beliefs. I believe that we can, and we WILL, come back from this stronger and more prosperous than ever before – and it is because of good people like the ones in Texas' 22nd District who love our flag, stand for freedom, and still believe that America is the greatest country in the world. God Bless the United States of America.
