Dear John,
Before I log off for the weekend and spend some much-needed time with family, I just wanted to say one last thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, donated, or simply cheered me on in the Special Election.
I know this isn’t the result we wanted, but I’m already looking forward with hope — 52,913 people voted for me on Tuesday, and that means 52,913 Nebraskans believe it’s time for a new era of leadership representing our district. That’s why I’m more committed than ever to delivering the resources, the relief, and the reform our nation needs to get on a better path.
While my opponent will be spending the next five months in Washington D.C., I'll be on the ground connecting with each and every voter in our district to make sure that come November, we have the grassroots power we need to bring home a victory.
I’m ready to continue this fight, but now that Mike Flood will officially be the incumbent in office this November, I need your help.
