Good afternoon friend,

This week my colleagues and I had the privilege of speaking to an Australian MP,
Fiona Patten, who pioneered the country’s first assisted dying law in the state
of Victoria.

Fiona has a message for British MPs

It took over 100 hours of debate, scrutiny and listening to the powerful
testimonies of dying people and their families to pass the law in Australia. But once Fiona Patten and her colleagues changed the law in Victoria, all the
other states passed an Assisted Dying Bill. Now the people in those states are among the 200 million people around the
world who live in a jurisdiction where assisted dying is legal.

Westminster has stalled this change in the UK for too long - MPs need to hear
first hand from a fellow lawmaker how change happens on this issue. Send your MP this video today.

On Monday 4th July MPs will gather to debate assisted dying. We must show them
that change is achievable - and that it has an enormously positive impact for
the people who need it most.

All best wishes,

Sadie Kempner
