Hey John, I have some good news and some bad news for you this morning.
First, the good news: We’re still counting all the numbers after last night’s FEC deadline — but we’re on track to have our best fundraising quarter yet. Lucas, me, and our whole team are so grateful for the trust and support real people like you have put into our grassroots movement.
But here’s the bad news: Remember that $100,000 goal we emailed you about yesterday morning? The one to help get our ads on TV and spread Lucas’ message across the state? We didn’t hit it.
This puts us in a really tough position. With all of our major opponents and their Super PACs already up on TV, falling behind on our fundraising isn’t an option. So today, we need to raise the remaining $50,000 to get Lucas on TV ASAP.
