Walk in the Walthamstow Wetlands

Hi John,

The Walthamstow Wetlands are just around the corner from Consonant. They are a haven of peace and quiet in the busy city. Join us for a walk around the reservoirs, enjoy the scenery, and see a lot of wildlife.

Our next walk in the Wetlands will be on Thursday 12th December meeting here at Consonant to leave at 10 am. If it is easier for you to go straight to the Wetlands we should be at the Engine House (the building in the Wetlands where the café is) for 10.15. One of the Wetlands staff will meet us and the plan is to talk about and have a go at some light conservation work. You can choose how much you want to do. I think you will find it interesting to learn more about the work that is done to help wild life and support diversity.

We will come back to Consonant for 12 and I hope you will join us for tea and biscuits and a feedback session so that you can tell us what you have enjoyed and what you would like to do in the future.
