"My mom is living with Alzheimer's disease, and I participate in The Longest Day to honor her. I register in the winter and begin fundraising throughout the spring. Each summer I host a pancake breakfast so my kids can get involved too. They love participating in The Longest Day and talking about how this helps their Grama. We invite our friends and neighbors to join us in raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association."
