It has been a rough, heartbreaking, horrible week for reproductive justice. Since the news broke early last Friday overturning Roe, thousands have had to grapple with what it means to live in a country that no longer believes they have the fundamental right to control their own bodies.

We’ve said it before and we will say it forever: we are devastated but undeterred.

In July seven years ago, Erin Matson and Pamela Merritt came together to found Reproaction and put forward the mission of advancing reproductive justice and increasing access to abortion everywhere.

Today, the first day of the 7th month of our 7th year, we are launching our new fundraising drive in the hopes of raising $700 in honor of our Golden Birthday.

We do this not to take away from the seriousness of the moment, but as a small reminder of the joys that are found in this work: providing activists opportunities to fight for bodily autonomy for all, as well as continuing our commitment to push for increasing abortion access.
