What's next for regenerative agriculture in the United States?

Regenerative agriculture holds huge potential to tackle our most pressing environmental and social challenges. But how do we ensure that the transition to a regenerative agriculture system supports equitable economic prosperity while allowing people and planet to flourish long term?

In a new report titled ‘What’s next for regenerative agriculture in the US?’ we take stock of the dynamic regenerative agriculture system in the US. The report sets out how our Growing our Future partners are working to ensure a deep and collaborative transition that centres social equity as well as environmental resilience. Here, we share initial results from our collaborative pilots focused on agricultural policy, finance for farmers' transitions, and pathways to market for regeneratively-produced products.

Growing our Future is made possible with funding support from the Walmart Foundation, The VF Foundation, the David Rockefeller Fund and Nestlé. Watch our must-see video on the initiative to find out more on the what, why and how behind Growing our Future.

Accelerating the transition to regenerative food and agriculture in the UK

Forum is also working in the UK to accelerate the transition to regenerative food and agriculture. Over 2022 to 2024, and with funding from the Co-op Foundation, John Ellerman Foundation, and People’s Postcode Lottery, we are bringing actors from across the whole UK food and farming sector together. We are creating a space for the sector to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively, in order to enable stakeholders to learn together, scale new practices, work across supply chains and solve shared problems.
