John,
This email is my final ask for your first $5 contribution to our campaign before our June end-of-quarter deadline strikes at midnight.
We all know the stakes of this election. Now more than ever.
My Republican opponent opposed codifying Roe v. Wade into law.
I support it wholeheartedly.
My Republican opponent’s campaign is swimming in corporate PAC money.
I refuse to take a penny of it.
My Republican opponent cannot say that he was born in this district, raised in this district, OR lives in this district.
I can say ‘YES’ to all three.
John, I am running this campaign to fight for you. Not corporate PACs, special interests, elite Wall Street executives, or the top 1%.
But, the brutal reality of campaigns is that they require a tremendous amount of resources. And my view is that if we have to spend a lot of time fundraising, then I am damn proud that this campaign is fueled by thousands of individual grassroots donors, giving $5, $25, or $50 at a time.
So I am coming directly to you one more time before tonight’s end-of-quarter deadline. My Finance Director Emily says we are JUST $900 away from our goal. John, if it’s within your means, can you make your first $5 contribution before midnight?

With gratitude & high hopes,
Josh Riley
