  As you know, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his allies in Congress remain determined to pursue policies harmful for retirees, working Americans and people with disabilities, including reckless, unpaid-for fiscal priorities that favor wealthy Americans at the expense of seniors' earned Social Security and Medicare benefits.   To ensure your voice is heard in Washington, the National Committee's government relations staff and I are meeting regularly with our coalition partners and key congressional allies in Congress on both sides of the aisle. We're planning more petition delivery events on Capitol Hill and town hall meetings with lawmakers. And we're taking our message to numerous media outlets.
