Our FEC end-of-quarter deadline is at midnight tonight. We're so close to hitting our $25,000 fundraising goal, so I told my team I'd ask personally: John, can you contribute $5, or any amount, right now to help power our campaign for bold, progressive change in Congress?
It is no secret that the political status quo has left many of our communities behind. Communities full of working people, Black and brown folks — those most impacted by the decisions our members of Congress make every day. I'm resolved to do something about it. I’m ready to win and bring our people-powered movement forward.
Since day one, I have refused to take any corporate PAC money, because I believe in the power of the people, John. I know we are stronger than special interests cutting paychecks to keep us broke, hungry, and tired. Now is the time to show them exactly what we’re made of.
