I can’t believe this, John -- Thom Tillis’ campaign just called me “cowardly” for wanting to pursue the facts in the investigation of President Trump. They’ve got some nerve.

Serving three tours of duty, including in Iraq and Afghanistan, isn’t cowardly.

Pursuing the facts in an ongoing investigation into the president’s abuse of power isn’t cowardly.

But you know what is? Thom Tillis losing $80 million in military funding for North Carolina’s servicemembers because he’s too weak to stand up to his own party even when it hurts our state. That’s cowardly.

John, I’ve had just about enough of Senator Tillis’ spinelessness. He’s too weak to stand up for what’s right and be an independent voice for the people of North Carolina. That’s why I’m running to replace him and it’s why we have to win this race.
