389 bills and 151 resolutions, team.
That's how much legislation the Democratic House has passed or agreed to this year alone, but Mitch McConnell is holding up nearly all of it in the Senate.
He's single-handedly killed off legislation on everything from protecting Colorado's outdoor economy to raising the minimum wage, and his neglect is hurting Coloradans and millions of Americans every day.
We can put a stop to this next year, end McConnell's stranglehold on our democracy, and finally get government working for Coloradans. But, here's the deal -- we HAVE to take the Senate back first. There's no other way
The path to stripping Mitch McConnell of his Senate majority starts right here in Colorado--you better believe McConnell and his allies are doing their best to hold on to it. Will you chip in whatever you can today?

Here's just a sampling of policies that have been passed in the House that McConnell is stubbornly blocking in the Senate:
Gun violence: More than 90% of Americans support universal background checks as a tool to address the gun violence epidemic. The House passed a bill in February, but McConnell refuses to even bring it up for a vote.
Climate change: House Democrats have passed a comprehensive climate bill that calls on Donald Trump to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord. McConnell has gloated that the bill will "go nowhere" in the Senate.
Violence against women: The bipartisan Violence Against Women Act, originally passed in 1994, funds programs that are designed to protect women from violence. McConnell has sided with the NRA, and is against its reauthorization because the latest bill closes the "boyfriend loophole"--a provision that prevents partners who have been convicted of abuse and stalking from owning firearms.
We can't afford another minute of Mitch McConnell's partisan obstruction on the issues that matter most. Chip in now and make sure we take back the majority next November:
