Over the past year our campaign has embarked on an improbable journey that will fundamentally change the political, economic and social fabric of the State of Mississippi.
We’ve been able to accomplish a lot in this short time: building national alliances with the labor movement, legal community, professional athletes, actors, notable politicians and building upon decades of friendships from my time working on the campaign trail, state government, non profit sector, and the Obama administration.
I have the background, the experience, and the passion to win this seat and to make the necessary changes that Mississippi, and our country, so desperately need. That is why I am asking you each to give what you can towards this effort no later than 11:59 PM TONIGHT, June 30th. I understand that these times are uncertain. I also believe where there’s a will there’s a way.
