Dear Neighbor:
The Supreme Court has shredded 50 years of settled law by overturning Roe v. Wade, and states across our country are now preparing to criminalize abortion.
I stand with the majority of Americans who disagree with this decision. Women, their families, and their health care providers should be able to make the most personal decisions about their health care, including about pregnancy, without government interference. I will do all I can in Congress to enshrine this basic right, which Roe v. Wade once guaranteed, into the law of our land once and for all.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court’s decision will not overturn New Jersey’s existing law codifying Roe. Women in New Jersey are still able to safely seek reproductive health care statewide.
If you or someone you know is seeking access to contraception, family planning services or abortion care, there are still providers available to you. Visit www.reproductiverights.gov to find care, information about abortion funds, and to learn more about your reproductive rights.
My office is here to answer questions and hear your concerns during this difficult time. Please visit malinowski.house.gov/contact or call our office at (908) 547-3307.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Congressman Tom Malinowski
