Friend,
When it comes to reproductive rights, we haven’t had much to celebrate here in Florida.
Earlier this year, Governor DeSantis signed a 15-week abortion ban into law. Last week, the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade , setting women’s rights back over 50 years. And already, the Florida GOP has started working on a full abortion ban with no exceptions.
But today, we finally got some good news: tomorrow, a judge will block Florida’s 15-week abortion ban!
The judge ruled that the abortion ban violates Floridians’ constitutional right to privacy, enshrined in our state constitution — and he’s absolutely right.
This is a major win in our fight for reproductive freedom in Florida, but it doesn’t mean we can ease up. It means we have double down and work harder than ever to support Democratic pro-choice women and secure our reproductive rights.
Our June fundraising deadline is at midnight tonight, and we need to make it clear that we won’t stop fighting until every woman has the right to safe, accessible reproductive care. Will you pledge your support and make a donation before time runs out? [[link removed]]

Even as we celebrate the good news, we can’t forget that the block on the abortion ban is only temporary. The question of abortion rights will go to the Florida Supreme Court — a court overrun by anti-choice DeSantis appointees.
I applaud Judge Cooper’s ruling. But the best way — the only way — we’ll truly secure our reproductive freedom in this state is at the ballot box in November.
We can’t let up now. We need to work harder than ever to protect Florida women and support Democratic pro-choice women across the state. Click here to make a donation before midnight and help us do it. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
