Hi John, it's Trudy. When I launched my campaign for Senate, I promised to lead with honesty. So I'm going to be honest with you here: We're up against a lot this November.

The GOP has countless deep-pocketed corporate donors and extremist megadonors. They have the power to obstruct meaningful legislation and spread misinformation about our democracy – and they won't hesitate to use it. 

They have truly powerful forces backing them – but what we have on our side is so much more important. We have a real commitment to doing what's right. We have compassion, kindness, and integrity. We have someone with the heart of a nurse working to give all families a fair chance. We have united grassroots power. And we have history on our side.

I know that we have what it takes to win on Election Day – but only if we all stand together as one united team against extremism, hate, and greed. That's why I'm emailing you today: We're still $4,284 short of our public FEC end-of-quarter grassroots goal, and our midnight deadline is in just a few hours at 11:59 p.m. tonight. This deadline is very real, and if we fall short, everyone will know once our numbers become public.

The future of our democracy is on the ballot this November. So please, can I count on you to rush $5 before tonight's public fundraising deadline? I'm counting on your grassroots gift to get us across the finish line, John.
