Exciting news: earlier this week, I filed my candidacy to represent Rhode Island's 2nd Congressional District!

Now that I've officially filed my candidacy, this campaign is kicking things into high gear – and we have a lot of work to do.

The good news is a new poll from the Boston Globe shows we are the strongest Democrat to beat Republican Allan Fung. The bad news is, that same poll shows Fung is narrowly leading the race. We can keep RI-02 blue, but it won't be easy.

Election experts at the Cook Political Report are now calling our race a "toss-up." We know national Republicans will take this poll as a sign that they can flip this seat red, and it's only a matter of time before the attacks start coming my way. I'm counting on supporters like you to help ensure my team and I have the resources to fight back.
