We fund voter protection

John, I needed to make sure you saw my team’s call to action from yesterday.

Like so many of you, I’ve been devastated by the recent attacks on reproductive freedom.

But I know that there is a way forward.

It starts with empowering voters to hold their leaders accountable.

By investing in local voter protection organizing, to ensure we elect pro-choice leaders at every single level of our government — including state legislators and city councils — we can continue the fight for progress.

To get it done, we need all hands on deck.

So I’m coming to you today to humbly ask for your support. We have a goal of raising $5,000 before midnight tonight — if we hit this goal, it will go a long way toward our goal of ensuring a safe, fair democracy for all Americans.

Can I count on you?

Thank you,

Kim Allen

The last few days have reminded us all just how impactful grassroots movements and voices can be.

In moments like this, when our most basic constitutional rights are being ripped away, it can feel hopeless.

But we cannot slow down — it has only become more important that we rise up and fight for our voices to be heard.

In this year’s midterm elections, we urgently need to elect pro-choice, pro-women, pro-reproductive freedom candidates on every single level — all the way down to local levels.

It’s the only way we’ll be able to secure reproductive justice in a post-Roe v. Wade country.

The vast majority of voters in states like Texas support the right to choose, but Republican elected officials are out of step with public sentiment. That is why we’re funding voter protection staff in key battleground states like Texas, where reproductive rights are under attack. We’re fighting to ensure that voters are able to hold their elected leaders accountable.

Your action and your voice have never been more vital.

So right now, Power the Vote is setting a goal of raising $5,000 for our pro-democracy efforts before the end of the month — that’s midnight on Thursday. Can we count on you to help us get there?

We Fund Voter Protection

In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.

We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships.

Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
