In California, though we have more work to do, we have the lowest maternal mortality rates in the country. We believe in empowering women and families — not undermining them.

But across the country, reproductive healthcare is increasingly at risk in Republican-led states. If Louisiana’s restrictive law is upheld, the entire state could be left with just one clinic that performs abortions.
