We aren’t going to put this lightly — we NEED this moment to be a turning point...
FIRST: The Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act after hearing a case from Groundwork partner state, Alabama.
THEN: A SCOTUS decision on a case out of Mississippi (another Groundwork partner state), Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, brought down 50 years of precedent and access to safe, legal abortion by overturning Roe v. Wade.
NOW: A newly decided SCOTUS case out of Groundwork partner state West Virginia limits the ability of the Biden administration and EPA to act on climate change.
In blow after blow we are seeing what happens when Democrats write off so-called red states and allow conservative power to not just take root in one place – but take wings across the entire country.
Enough is enough: Groundwork is putting in the hard work to break this decades-long dynamic. But we can only do so much without your support. We have a critical FEC filing this Thursday. And we need 200 grassroots donors to step up right now. Will you be one of them? Donate now.

Groundwork is uniquely poised to meet the big challenges of this moment and here’s why: we are flipping the traditional playbook on its head. We are going to the areas typically ignored because we know that, uncontested, they create a path for extremists to manipulate the game board and attacking our most fundamental human and civil rights.
