Friend,
Our nation's highest court just made a radical attack on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) authority to limit carbon pollution from power plants -- our country's most significant industrial polluters.
This is a dangerous decision by the court, and a significant setback in our fight against climate change. But the fight doesn't end here. It can't. Not with the future of our planet at stake.
So I'm doubling down on my commitment to leading our fight for the environmental protections we need to protect our communities and for our planets' future. But I can't do it alone.

Without regulatory authority to limit or lower power plants' emissions, it will become much harder to fight the climate crisis and prevent an all-out climate catastrophe, one that will be especially devastating for our most vulnerable communities. Radical decisions from D.C. demand bold action from the states. So you better bet that Washington state will be leading the way toward bold climate action, just like we've done for years.
Still, we can't let Big Coal declare this a victory for their profits over clean air, healthy communities, and a livable world for our children and grandchildren. We will keep fighting, here in Washington and across the country.
On a day like today, it's more important than ever that we recommit ourselves to the work of protecting our planet and our communities.
Chip in $10 right now, and let's keep our climate movement moving forward.
Thank you for your support, as always.
Very truly yours,
Jay
