Every three months, candidates for federal office must file a report with the Federal Election Commission detailing how much they have raised and how many people have chipped in. And shortly after, that report goes public.
We do this to keep politicians honest about how their campaigns are funded — and I’m really proud of what our report says about this team: In fact, our average donation online this quarter is just $16.90.
But to be honest, this report makes me a little nervous too. You see, I’m still the new guy in the Senate, so when our report goes public, everyone — and I mean everyone — will comb through it looking for signs of weakness.
With a Senate seat up for grabs here in Colorado, I don’t want to give national Republicans a reason to think our momentum in 2020 was just a fluke and that our state is ripe for the taking.
So, I’m asking for your help today. Will you make a donation so we can reach our critical FEC end-of-quarter goal tonight, report strong numbers, and protect our slim Democratic Senate majority?

This team did the impossible and flipped a Senate seat to give Democrats a majority in Washington. Now, we need to do everything we can to protect it.
