Fellow Patriot,
In a few days, we will celebrate the 4th of July, thankful to be part of this exceptional country. America is a nation of lofty aspirations and great achievements – where the impossible is made possible. It is no accident that a significant number of the world’s preeminent inventors, artists, scientists, business leaders, and thinkers are the product of an American system that is based on equality and which rewards merit.
Opportunity has always been an American hallmark and our history is filled with real life American success stories. Hard-working Benjamin Franklin only had two years of schooling, and was a prolific inventor, publisher, statesman, and philosopher. President Abraham Lincoln was born into poverty in a log cabin and self-educated. Our newly minted entrepreneurs and small business owners are modern day proof that the American Dream is alive and well. And new businesses are being planned every day at dining room tables or in garages all around the country.
However, the American Dream is facing a challenge from an insidious ideology intent on destroying the very value that unifies us as a country - equality of opportunity - and substituting instead a pernicious “equity” agenda which has overtaken our schools, our companies, and our government. Our country cannot survive if we allow this divisive policy where winners and losers are mandated based upon race, gender, sexual preference, or worldview to prevail.
Last week, America First Legal organized its newest division, the Center for Legal Equality, to ensure the American Dream remains available to all citizens. The Center for Legal Equality will fight to protect and preserve the right of every American to be treated with equality under the law.
The Center for Legal Equality is already busy at work fighting the “woke” agenda, and has already done serious damage to the woke movement.
Yesterday, representing parents in Loudoun County, The Center filed a lawsuit against their public schools for discrimination hidden under the name of “equity” and many more allegations of appalling misconduct.
Last week, The Center asked the EEOC to investigate the illegal employment discrimination practices of Morgan Stanley, Harvard, Princeton, and the University of Michigan. A few days ago, the Center asked the EEOC to investigate Yum! Brands, Inc. (parent company of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and others) for its discriminatory hiring practices.
Your support allows us to do this important work. Please consider making a donation today to America First Legal and its Center for Legal Equality. We have only begun to fight!
We invite you to join our mission to defeat this anti-American ideology and ensure the American Dream is a reality for our children and grandchildren. Together we will protect our freedoms and the very spirit that propelled America to be the exceptional nation that it is.
