Today, American Muslims for Palestine, a national advocacy organization, is holding a congressional briefing on Israel’s treatment of US citizens. The briefing will feature experts and first-hand accounts by victims of Israeli discriminatory policies and, in some cases, violence, including Maria LaHood, Center for Constitutional Rights; Emily Siegel, Eyewitness Palestine; Brian Avery, US peace activist; Janna Jihad, Palestinian American youth activist; with remarks by Osama Abu Irshaid, Executive Director, American Muslims for Palestine and Josh Ruebner, author of the policy paper and former Analyst in Middle East Affairs at Congressional Research Service.
