I don’t want to take up too much of your time, and I really have to get going, so I’ll cut right to it:

Maura Healey for Governor

Hey there, it’s Maura Healey. I just grabbed a coffee and I’ve got about 15 minutes here before I head into a meeting, so I wanted to send you a quick note.

I know you’re probably hearing from a lot of campaigns that are fundraising right now. I don’t take any dollar for granted, just like I don’t take any vote for granted, so I wanted to send you an email and explain how we’re spending our money over the next several weeks.

Full disclosure: Earlier today I spoke with our team and found out that we’re very close to reaching our goal, so I’ll end this email with an ask to chip in a few dollars — here’s why:

I believe in working hard for every vote, so we’ve made the decision to run a grassroots campaign reaching every community across Massachusetts. Over the next several weeks, we’re going to be investing heavily in building out a volunteer organizing program — getting organizers on the ground, training volunteers, and buying the supplies needed to make that community outreach effort possible. Those are the investments Democrats need to make right now. There’s too much on the line.

We’ve made the choice to not just focus on red areas or blue areas — we’re going to be fighting for every vote, everywhere.

That’s because I’m running for Governor to take on rising costs, protect crucial rights, and build a Massachusetts that works for everyone. We need a campaign that takes that promise seriously. Every grassroots donation adds up to build our statewide grassroots movement.

That’s why I’m asking you to chip in $5, or whatever you can, to reach our goal before midnight.

Gotta go, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Talk soon,

Maura
