Hi John. This is a quick but important email, so I hope you’ll read it all the way.

The Supreme Court just stripped half our population of the fundamental right to bodily autonomy. I will do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure that here in North Carolina, we elect enough Democratic legislators this November to sustain my vetos of bad abortion legislation that Republicans will try to ram through.

But we need resources to succeed.

I met with Kate earlier, and she let me know that we’re within sight of our June fundraising goal. But with just 9 hours remaining before tonight’s deadline, we’re still not quite at our increased $40,000 target.

I need to ask directly if just a few more folks can chip in by 11:59 pm — we could close the gap with just 50 donations of $30 or more.
