On June 8th, Californians went to the polls to vote and of the 22 challengers to Gavin Newsom’s appointed Senator, Californians choose me to be on your ballot this November. For the last ten years, Republicans have not had an option to vote for a Republican for U.S. Senate because Democrats managed to take the top two spots in June. While this did not make the news in California, it was a big deal in Washington D.C. as there was a lot of political commentary covering this achievement. Granted, the Democrats tried to steal the top two spots by having a multi-millionaire spend over four million dollars on television advertisement but with your support, we easily made the top two.
As you know, California has some of the worst run elections in the nation and they are still finishing counting all the ballots. As such, my team has not yet been able to finish reviewing all the election results. However, I can tell you that there is some real promising data that has us excited about the Red Wave that will be hitting California this fall. Once we finish reviewing the final results, I will make sure to share the details with you.
