Friday’s Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade was sickening. The ruling will cause untold suffering and have deadly consequences. But while we grapple with the consequences and mobilize to fight back, Elise Stefanik is taking a victory lap, praising the decision.

Stefanik voted against codifying Roe, and her colleagues have made it clear that this decision is only the first step in the GOP’s plan to ban abortions nationwide.
