Help us protect these seats
We need to protect these legislative leaders to make progress after November
Hi John,
Clean water. Clean energy. Our freedom to vote.
These are our priorities when deciding who to endorse and support to be leaders in our legislature.
Progress on these priority issues can only be made if we have elected champions in the State Assembly and State Senate who will fight for them. That means protecting incumbent champions in competitive races.
There are many great incumbent candidates running for re-election around Wisconsin that you should check out and support. Today, we're highlighting some key races and the champions who are running for re-election in those races.
Rep. Katrina Shankland represents the Stevens Point area in Assembly District 71. She has been a constant champion for clean energy and climate action and has a lifetime score of 100 percent on our Conservation Scorecard.
Rep. Steve Doyle represents Onalaska and rural La Crosse County. His district is threatened with nitrate contamination, and Doyle has been a tried and true champion for protecting water.
Sen. Jeff Smith represents Senate District 31, stretching from Eau Claire to the Mississippi River. Smith is a consistent defender of clean water and one of Wisconsin’s most vocal advocates for PFAS standards.
We know that these will be some of the tightest legislative races in November. We can’t afford to lose these champions in the legislature – and we’re getting to work to make sure they are re-elected.
Can you donate right now to help re-elect these conservation incumbents? With your donation, we’ll get to work immediately contacting and organizing voters so these champions win in November. [[link removed]]
Thank you for your support.
