Hi John,
The overturning of Roe v. Wade was devastating for women. The 6-3 political vote of the U.S. Supreme Court was just that, a vote based on politics not judicial precedent.
The majority of American citizens across many demographics support keeping Roe v. Wade. Post-Roe restrictions on abortion will exacerbate existing inequalities by disproportionately impacting those who are already disadvantaged; all women, regardless of economic status, race, or religious affiliation, must have their healthcare options protected. Constraints on abortion run counter to the basic science of reproductive health; they misinform, intimidate, and even endanger women.
Banning abortion would have countless devastating effects on millions of Americans regarding reproductive health, the economy, equality, and the right to determine what happens to one’s own body.
I strongly support a woman's right to make her own health care decisions. As Minnesota's 6th District next U.S. Congresswoman, I will fight to codify Roe into law, protect women's health, and women's rights.
But, in order for me to fight for all of us and cosponsor legislation to codify Roe into law, I need your help to be elected. Our campaign's FEC End-of-Quarter report deadline is today and I'm respectfully requesting your financial support to make your first donation now or if you have already donated to make another donation to help our cause before midnight tonight. Our campaign will close its books at midnight tonight and we cannot stress enough how important today's report deadline is to our campaign.
Now more than ever, Defending Our Democracy must be our top priority, fighting for our rights and most importantly fighting to codify Roe.
John, Can I count on you to make a donation today before midnight of $1, $5, $10, $20.22, $50 or another amount to help my campaign have a strong end-of-quarter FEC fundraising report and help to elect me to the U.S. Congress, so I can work hard on your behalf every day and fight to codify Roe in to law?
