Last year, West Virginia sued to take away the EPA’s ability to regulate dangerous greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. But the Clean Air Act gives EPA that authority, a fact reaffirmed twice by the Supreme Court. Today, however, the Supreme Court ignored its own precedent and sided with corporate polluters. They’ve dealt a blow to the federal government's ability to fight the climate crisis, but our movement is ready to fight back.

We will not give up. We’re determined to fight harder than ever; we know that when people stand together to oppose dirty energy, we can stop the fossil fuel industry. Nearly two-thirds of voters want power plant emissions regulated. The era of fossil fuels is over and we’ll fight to make sure we’re heard loud and clear. Will you join us?
