Over the past few days, you've heard from my team about our upcoming FEC deadline at midnight tonight.

Now, we are just hours away from our first deadline of the general election — our most important deadline of the campaign to date — and I want to make one thing clear:

This campaign is about more than you or me, or even Long Beach. It's about people all across the country who are frustrated and devastated that their right to an abortion was just stolen from them.

It's about all the parents who fear that their children won't return home from school one day because of the lack of comprehensive gun legislation in this country.

It’s about every family in the country that has lost a loved one due to COVID-19 or is struggling because of rising costs while corporations see record profits.

This campaign is about all of us.

So today, when I ask you to contribute to my campaign, know that I'm not just asking you to help me make it to Congress. I am asking you to help everyone in this country that has seen and faced adversity over the past few years.
