Lisa Anderson | Director of Young Adults
History was made last week as, contrary to what many Americans believed possible, an almost 50-year-old Supreme Court decision was overturned by the same court. Roe v. Wade is on the trash heap of history, with abortion legislation now relegated to individual states. This is cause to celebrate! But it also begs the question: What is the opportunity here for Christians? Making abortion unthinkable isn’t a government battle, it’s a heart battle. Will believers step up to love, enfold, and care for the moms, dads and babies affected by unplanned pregnancies? Will we welcome them instead of wagging a finger? If you haven’t heard my interview with Jarod and Glory Adducci, who faced an unexpected pregnancy while still in high school — check out

part two . How their church and a local pregnancy center stepped in for them is jaw-dropping and inspiring.
