We just took a look at your 2022 Halftime Report and just wanted to check in! There are still so many athletes across the country waiting for their chance to play. Will you help them as we approach the second half of the year?

A single basketball might seem like a small gift, but it’s huge in the lives of athletes. Playing on a team gives athletes confidence. It teaches them new skills. It sparks friendships! And so far we have put 637 basketballs in the hands of athletes this week. That’s amazing!

That's the sound of the halftime buzzer — we’re just about six months into the Special Olympics 2022 sports season!! 

This community has already done so much this year to help athletes feel strong, supported, and celebrated. And with half a year left in the season, we are bound and determined to make a difference in the life of every single athlete we can.

And we’re doing it with 🏀🏀BASKETBALLS 🏀🏀.

Right now, in your hometown and around the country, people with intellectual disabilities (ID) are ready to get back on the court. And when they have the equipment they need, you’ll give them the chance to make their dreams of competing become a reality.
