Pride Month is a time of celebration, but it is rooted in protest and a fight for basic fundamental rights. PFLAG roots are Pride’s roots, and so together, we must take action. We’re proud to partner with Big Little Feelings – an organization dedicated to supporting parents with toddlers – this month to support parents of LGBTQ+ kids. Your gift today will be put to work immediately toward: - Fighting anti-LGBTQ+ censorship in schools and libraries with tools and trainings through our #ReadWithLove campaign;
- Uplifting and centering the needs of BIPOC families through our PFLAG Connects: Communities virtual support meetings for Black/African American, Latino, and AAPI families;
- Creating and distributing PFLAG publications including recently released titles like At Ease: Support for Military Families with LGBTQ+ Children and Teens, and Supporting Your LGBTQ+ Grandchild; and
- Elevating family stories and LGBTQ+ visibility — not just during Pride Month but all year long — through partnerships, media campaigns, and other public awareness efforts so that every parent, family member, ally, or LGBTQ+ person who needs PFLAG can find PFLAG.
