Pride comes before the fall.

Not long ago, POLITICO leaked that Ann Wagner told a group of her wealthiest donors and corporate allies that she was worried about this district, MO-02, changing to include more "whacko birds" in rural and exurban areas outside of the greater St. Louis region. 

You see, Wagner wants to pick her voters instead of allowing them to pick her. But whether the district changed or stayed the same, Wagner would still refuse to show up and talk to her constituents. She has shown during her time in Congress that she doesn't care to earn her role; she feels entitled to it.

But we know that Wagner's pride, and arrogance, will be her downfall.

Trish's philosophy and approach to public service, including being a candidate for public office, is one of inclusion. We are going to places that Wagner won't, and even areas where Democrats typically don't.

And it just so happens that Trish has the profile and style needed to win this district: she has won in traditionally Republican neighborhoods twice, and will do it again by showing up, listening, and speaking her mind and values.
